Well, looks like I'm off to buy SC2

It seems like a crazy missed opportunity for them to have sold pre-orders of D3, and let those folks post.
|||they don't like spam and people who can't follow the rules :(|||

they don't like spam and people who can't follow the rules :(

So...instead of banning the accounts that dont follow the rules, they force you to buy or activate a subscription to be able to post about Diablo 3? the crazies got them already.
I just dont get it...if they bann your account, that means you would have to BUY a new product to post, cause if you dont tie a product key to your account you cant post, so why go a step in the wrong direction and make players put up more cash when its not necessary?|||

because it is necessary. you take responsibility for what you say.
this is a private forum, not some country that refuses to jail people for hate speech.|||

Eh...how is it any diffrent from being banned and your accoutn deleted so you have to buy a new product key and tie that to a new account to be able to post again? i dont get what you are saying...
How are we not taking responsibility for what we post? we already have an account on b.net, and on that account we tie the product keys. I fail to se how that is not to take responsibility....they know who i am, cause i use real life information to create my account for b.net, im really confussed by what you are saying.|||So is the new forum up yet? It doesnt seem like it.|||

Did you even read the whole thread?|||Blizzerd gave me a free week of WoW to come back and try to get me hooked again, so I activated it and still cannot post on the D3 forums. What crap, I have spent over $500 on WoW with xpacs and subs and cannot post on that D3 forums... unless I pay for a WoW scrip to play an outdated bland and now colorless game.|||

Q u o t e:
who cares? its just a forum. Just wait until D3 is out or u get in beta... Your not missing out on anything.

Only a complete dolt would go out and buy Starcraft 2 solely to post on a D3 message board.|||FirstWorldProblems
I had to buy an awesome game to post on a forum.|||It would probably be cheaper to buy WoW ($20) and just pay for a month ($15). I'm pretty sure you get a month free, so that would be two months of posting for $35 vs $60 for Starcraft. You should have the beta by then :)|||

Q u o t e:
Why would you guys pay money for the sole purpose to post your 2cents inside Sixen's realm of perpetual brown nosing? I don't get it.
Well, I enjoy posting in the forums and answering questions. Sixen's MVP isn't entirely from brown-nosing.

Q u o t e:
SC2= $60...... WoW = $20 + 15 for a month = $35
True, but I don't play WoW. At all. I like RTS's but I'm kind of a classic player: Red Alert 2. I played RA3 for a little bit too, but the Starcrafts never caught my attention. And ultimately I can let my friends who constantly invade my room play SC2 (one of them is Korean!).

I think so too. They must have not been ready to deal with preorders logistically.

I know right ><|||the new forum community looks much better, less rage, less retards, less QQ|||I don't understand the opposition to SC2. I can see how people might not like the main RTS gameplay, but I know some people don't play the RTS part. There are a ton of custom maps with a wide variety of gameplay styles. You can play a tower defense, a dota-style game (basically a PvP ARPG) and even a hilarious mod based on the Mafia card game.|||Lol at you for not having owned SC2 anyway, how very scrub of you.|||

The game costs £33 on amazon. I've already preordered D3 for £23, so £33 seems a bit expensive for me. I tend not to buy games if they're more than £30 these days, especially with the advent of steam. But sure, I would like to have it.|||

You're either trolling, or you haven't even looked at the new forum yet.

It's basically all of the threads we had here a month ago, with the rage cranked up a thousand-fold.|||about freaking time
