My solution:
All items in auction house can be bought or sold ONLY with in-game gold.
Player can trade gold in AH for real money.
PROS
Players dont need to spend real money to bid in AH
Players who want spend real money to bid, can buy in-game gold with cash from other players.
Third sites are penalized because players can trade items with in-game gold and purchase it (gold) in
battlenet AH directly.|||uhm... the famers or sellers or whatever will just sell gold and sell items to get gold which then later sell.
This doesn't change anything at all when it comes to farmers and such.
It will not hurt the "black" market, it will just hurt the players.|||Solutions usually comes after a problem... but where's the problem?|||

That i need to spend real money to bid in AH, while with my solution can farm gold to buy anything, because nobody sell unique rare items in gold ah but only in RMAH|||

You can farm gold to buy anything since you can sell gold.
so still no issue.|||

This and you don't have to use either AH. As in you're not forced to... so you could just find and/or trade for your precious items.|||

Nobody will trade gold for real money, if can spend directly real money to buy items in RMAH
If all best items are in RMAH, in-game gold will be useless|||I think the idea is fine. It is basically the EXACT same way that D2jsp works now, with the exception that game gold is ever created, and FG is only created as people put money into it. That said, Blizzard could absolutely, positively, certainly, make sure that gold 'sinks' perform the funciton of removing gold at the same rate as it is created.
Accordingly, yeah, the idea has merit. It does also make sense in that you can't create a secondary 'money' currency in the game. I don't want there to be 'gold' plus FG, plus money currency. Simplicity has its purpose, and buying ONLY gold makes sense.
Of course this only makes sense if it is a game objective to have the gold you make balance with your expenses. If you make 1000000X the amount of gold you need in a run, gold will truly be useless in a jiffy. If you have to make that million gold per run to keep your Archon Plate 'Enigma' in working order, then yeah, it makes sense.|||

Actually, that's where you're wrong. If money is as useless as it is in D2 (in the end, just used as part of a massive gambling process to create +2 skiller ammies with FCR, then yeah, it is basically useless. If it is fully integrated into the game and balanced, buying gold makes sense. The only thing is that they couldn't possibly know how much gold is worth at the beginning with the exception of how much players are willing to pay day-to-day. Only after the economy 'stabilizes' will they have an idea. And there will probably be a lot of players that have hard feelings knowing that their extra 20-spot went down the drain in seconds.|||Now the system is :
All best items will be in RMAH.
Nobody will buy gold because cant spend it in RMAH, and because can spend real money to buy directly from RMAH.
Normal AH will be useless.
In-game gold will be useless.
Players are forced to spend real money to bid in RMAH.|||

It appears so. This is why buying gold is such a good idea. The idea of two auction houses will almost certainly mean one of them dominates. Having a second is retarded. You need to be able to cash out your gold for someone's money, and that is it. All of the AH's should only be based on gold, and you should only be able to buy gold. Why this 2-house system is even a dream is weird to me.|||

gold will have lots of value because it will go from AH to RMAH and several other gold sinks in-game. We don't need a solution if there's no problem. There will be alot of items in the AH.|||

So you think its good game design to empty players pockets through annoying and over priced gold sinks? So that when I go back to town to repair, I am unable to due to the imbalanced amount of gold sinks?
I recall you being an old school poster, and you are continuing to post idiotic statements concerning gold.
Why can't you just admit that gold as a currency in D3 is a idiotic idea?|||

There is a problem though, it is called wasteful thinking. The idea of 2 houses is stupid. Gold needs to sell for whatever it is WORTH, and to do that, I think people should be able to 'buy' gold sold by players. After that, there should be only one house. I think that would make the world a better, cleaner, one auction house place.
All of the 'firewalls' they have in this stupid 2-house system is a bad idea.|||

Sure I have no problem with the one AH idea it would make it more convenient, but with 2 it's just a problem of convenience not game play, people will still be able to work around it.|||
