Switching Game Avatar Bug in New Forums

I have an expired WOW account but I have a SC2 account. I don't know how to switch my avatar to my SC2 profile in order to post in the new forums.
Plus I want to change it permanently since SC2 > WOW|||I have the exact same problem!
It makes me a very sad puppy :(
If anyone has any idea how to fix this I would love to hear it. I've read about "managing characters" but I get no such option and I've been through (what I think) are all the options of my bnet account.

|||I just read in some other threads that it wont work if your bnet account region is Europe.
If I set the region (for the site) to the US my name shows up properly after logging in but I get the message I have no characters.
If i set the region to Europe I get the message that "An error has occurred. Please try again." In other words, I cant even log in.

Yeah, i could swap character now... sweet :)|||both EU & US D3 forum is having this issue. While it is also only certain avatars and images that cant be showed... they are aware of it and is getting this issue fixed, so no worries :)
