This isn't 1999 anymore. Quit living in the past.|||On a Tuesday.|||Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Get it out just before Thanksgiving and Black Friday so all the kiddies living in their Mom's basement can beg for money for the RMAH! (before it goes to gifts)|||December 21, 2012|||Before any of the major upcoming breaks. Thanksgiving/Christmas are 1 week/2 weeks respectively (most places). I doubt anywhere near October.
Maybe 3 weeks after BlizzCon at the earliest.
Two weeks before Christmas, near when Cataclysm launched, is good too.|||From a marketing perspective it would be an absolute nightmare not to have this game out before christmas. Plain and simple.
Now if Blizzard thinks they have enough fans or a good enough game to get the same sales figures without the most major shopping season in NA then more power to them but I seriously doubt they will miss Q4 if they can help it.
