What alot of people really dont realize - There are a huge number of GOLD SELLERS on here spamming this to try to deviate the want of the RMAH. They have $$$ to lose from this option and they will log in with their MULTIPLE-*10 accounts as different people just to complain about it and get a "so called following" going.
Not one of them could offer one single true reason WHY the RMAH is unfair other than "it makes me feel cheated...their cheating and paying to win"
lets look at this "pay to win" gripe the gold-sellers or anti-RMAH people are using.
More than a few of those saying that has said--- Ill work to get my stuff legitamately, but he will just just money---buy the items and then be BETTER than me!
^^^ this is wrong --- He may spend money to get better gear -- for right now -- but anyone that learns the game will be able to negotiate trades to get gear JUST AS GOOD as the person that bought it. (there is no secret - BETTER STUFF ONLY ON RMAH) its only stuff found in the game---stuff you could find yourself.
Game will be filled with "chinese farmers"
^^^ this interpretation makes me almost sick -- #1 -- There are just as many " American Farmers, French Farmers and any other culture" farming almost any MMO - the RMAH softens the spam associated with these and basically makes them compete with EVERY player in the game on equal terms. Now for the funny part for those worried specifically about the "chinese farmers" -- They have to live behind a proxy! This means several things ... first and foremost - proxies frequently get blocked by games. Then they are on a continual search for new proxies. Its not hard to figure out if there are proxies in use--- 500 people logged in using the same IP address is usually a good indication. One small click and those 500 people are logged off the game and the IP is blocked. The Chinese gold seller market is going to be severely handicapped by a larger number of regular game players playing the field to make a few bux playing a game.
The Gold AH will suffer -
^^^ This is one i will give some merit to. There is not one reason i can state that will say that will make this wrong - Most people find that super rare item will probably stick it in the RMAH. Those who are dead set against the RMAH may even find themselves doing the same. The Gold AH i believe will be useful though in some aspects. I believe alot of lower / crafting type items will be available on the gold AH for those who want to sell gold outright on the RMAH. occassionally there will be some slightly higher items put up in there as well.
The RMAH takes away from the game -
^^^ some will even say == if you dont just do this as an expansion to D2--it takes away from the game. The problem is, not everyone will be 100% satisfied with what they release for the game - best bet---
Play and Enjoy|||

Not true on the farmers, there are quite a lot of them from china and korea that can undercut any western farmer on price. That's my only gripe, I wish they require US bank accounts for the US auction house (or something similar) to protect the markets.
Activision gets a flat amount of money from each transaction. They aren't going to do anything to jeopardize that revenue stream as since Oriental item farmers will be no doubt be responsible for a huge amount of RMAH sales.|||I believe there will be that equivelency -- if not--they have and additional expense we dont --- thats the currency conversion fee's. All bank's - credit cards - and paypal charges this. the money is paid in the region currency. But as far as i know, even if they have a bank in China--play on us servers, it will pay in USD---they then are charged a currency conversion fee. -- one more reason i dont think they will be a major issue.... and if i find stuff in the game that i got free..and get so many free auctions a week--- well they cant undercut me too much ;)
|||For me it's the principle involved. Buying items was against the rules for a decade, and now they're changing their stance on it like it's no big deal. It seems hypocritical to me.
Though I do see the benefit for people that can't play 3+ hours a day, they now have the option to buy stuff with Blizzard's consent.
I just want the regions completely isolated.|||If I do end up playing D3, as much as I am against the RMAH I will no doubt take any gg items straight there. You can't possibly expect me to turn down cash in favour of gold. If I'm very lucky there won't be any buyers and I can start playing the game for fun not profit. That's just one of the reasons why it has no business in the game. That's just one of the reasons why I qq. Hopefully now that Human Revolution has finished downloading I will stop visiting these forums.|||

So wait, you hate the RMAH, but you won't be able to stop yourself from using it, so you hope your own items don't sell?
That's twisted. You could do with a bit of self control.|||

Guess who they can't undercut?
Me and the 2 million+ other regular players who don't need to make one red cent to keep our business going by selling things in D3.
Come to think of it, you kind of sound like one of the farmers that want changes to the RMAH that the OP was talking about.... Just a little less obvious. ;)|||

I believe this is roughly the same logic used by abstinence-only education promoters.
Think of the RMAH like giving the game and everyone in it a prophylactic instead of just telling people not to do it.|||

I will simply be doing the following --- I wont tie in a paypal account... i will sell stuff as low as the prices make me go... and just bundle it into "wow stock". I have no additional expenses like the "farmers" will...and eventually, i may build enough to buy something from either blizz store or gear from the RMAH that i want.
otherwise ill be treating the RMAH like a regular gold AH. :)|||Long live RMAH, besides...
Blizzard would be considered a terrorist organization under the patriot act as Gold Farmers pump money into China economy… specifically pertaining to China’s recently developed missiles that are able to eliminate U.S. Carriers...
Support your troops with RMAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone who does not support RMAH is a terrorist!!!!!!!!!!!

This is exactly what I have said from the second I read the AH FAQ....
What people need to realize is that if you don't put any Real Life money into the RMAH, and you don't take any out, and don't use your B-net balance for anything other than RMAH sales and purchases, then guess what? It isn't really money. It is just a far more stable currency that simplifies the trading process and ensures when you sell something you don't lose any value due to excessive gold inflation.
Treat the RMAH as a trading house and don't think of it as money unless you are leaving the game permanently and unloading everything you have to real $$, and you will be fine.|||Kids..........
