After Beta is released

[:1]When the beta is finally released will blizzard also announce all remaining skills that the characters will have? As well as Items, and the remaining quests?|||No they want most of the story and quests and items and such to be a surprise on release.
that is why the beta is as small as it is with tons of restrictions and stuff. So they don't reveal more than they want.|||what defusion said, you know the beta is only the first third of act1 right? its not a gameplay beta test, its just hardware.|||

How do you know its one third of act 1? that would mean act 1 is only 2.5-3 hours long... :/|||

you're assuming it's totally linear though. The last third of act 1 could take 50% longer than the second third, we don't know.
But besides that, they don't want to spoil anything.
The community site should get some of those "Coming Soon" updates near the beta. Near the game's release we might get some more basic information. Eventually (some time after the release or even with the release in my dreamland), we'll get some Arreat Summit-style site which will be awesome.
Until then all the wikis will be hard at work. Wiki sysops will get no sleep.|||

My point still stands, the beta only took 45minutes to 1 hour to complete. If that's the first third of act 1, even with a 50% increase on the next 2 portions it would still make act 1 to short. Which doesn't make much sense, I'd expect act 1 to be longer than 4 hours.|||

50% was an entirely made up number. It could be 250%. You could get stuck and die repeatedly and take 3 days to complete it in Hell difficulty. It could take 5 hours in Nightmare difficulty.
Normal is going to be pretty easy especially for Act 1, I would expect it to not take forever. I didn't really start to be pressured -- and didn't watch others die -- until the demo in Act 2's Stinging Winds. But, again, no one has even seen anywhere near the end of Act 1.|||i hope they double or triple the amount of afixes in the game compared to d2, cant wait to play it damn, cant even enjoy anthing else in all game industry anymore lol, diablo 3 expectative is making my brain fry.
