if anyone knows how to switch it to the active sc2 account please let me know....this is driving me insane!
|||If you have a full retail license for StarCraft II on your Battle.net account you should be able to log into that account and post. You'd of course need to log into the game first and create a 'character'.|||I just click on my forum nickname when logged in and a pop-up appears where I can choose any of my account names, they being from WoW or SC2...|||While we're still here, can I delete my "character"
Q u o t e:
While we're still here, can I delete my "character"to reset my profile?
No your SC2 character and record is there to stay. The idea is that you should be tracking your play experience and improvement over the years. You'd need to buy a new license to have a fresh profile.|||Oh, wow. You should totally enable "leave or reset" option for people who upgrade to full version.
I mean, I'm on trial and some of my achievements are not strictly mine, a friend came over and made wonders I hoped to do myself.|||

That is, unless you still have a Free Rename left from way back.
Edit: To see if you have a Free Character Name Change, go to the Manage Games section and click on Starcraft 2. It would be at the bottom.
Edit 2: I'm assuming you're wanting to simply change your name?|||

Im sorry but this is #@!*ing Retarded...
I have no problems with the pvp / pve being seperate.
I have no problems with the real money AH
I have no problems with no more stat / skill points.
I do however have a problem with not being aloud to post in the NEW forums just because i dont buy your other @#@!.
I have space / sci fi yadda yadda yadda. So i dont want SC2 i have warcraft 3 and D1 - d2 etc but for a #@!*ing D3 forum you have to have a game that has nothing to do with the Diablo universe? #@!*ing stupid.
Ive played WoW but im also NOT subscribing and feeding you money to post in a forum.
Blizzard has just really #@!*ing gone stupid. Ive had high hopes for D3 i think they made some great decisions thus far, and now comes the stupiditiy. I used to think this game was going to be flawless no matter what now im worried they are going to #@!* it up because all they think about is money.
Whats next ? You must Own D3 to buy SC2 expansion. You need to have a WoW subscription to buy any blizzard games. WTF
Retarded.
Thank you for saying what needed to be said. This is bloody ridiculous, This is truly just another FU from Blizzard. Who the **** makes these decisions? How god awfully incompetent must you be to think that this was a wise decision.|||

Once you have Diablo III, you will be able to post.
Until then, you have to have some type of active Battle.net 2.0 account to access the Battle.net 2.0 forums.
Seems pretty simple/logical to me.|||

Oh yeah...
And wait for how long? Until its done? D3 will ship sometime next year... So you're looking at 5 to 6 months inability to post on the new forums...
**** that.|||I am sure you can use your wow account to use on the forum, as long as you've bought the game.. Otherwise I smell a lawsuit. GL GG blizz
Jokes aside.
The look and feel is terrible in the new forums.. I can hardly read what ppl are writing in there. There are not strong enough contrasts between text and background. And counterwise? the blue posts struck me blind. =P
(Thats my impression reading on the forum, when sitting in a dark room)|||

Weird... this mean all D2 fans who cannot wait for D3 can't discuss the game on a dedicated D3 forums (except here).|||yea but still thats where the real info is gonna be at now, at least you can read.
if blizz wants to take our money they should just release the game, not make u pay for something u dont even like to play to be able to post, stab us more.|||

Having same problem as TC. How do we login to our sc2 account on a forum? We login through our main battle.net account, not through SC2. I had wow and have sc2 and I can not figure out how to post
|||bump.. sad this thread got derailed.
There is seriously no option to switch between accounts.|||

You log in with your battle.net account and if it auto logs with a WoW character you click on the nickname and choose your SC2 name on the pop-up that appears.|||looks like i need to go waste $60 just so i can go post in the forums
i hate buying a game i have no interest in to be able to discuss one i do|||
No, this is about achievements. Some people don't care much about personally gaining them, but I do.
