LOL, what did you do? I got perma-panned a few weeks ago when Spirit-Walker made that ridiculous thread about suing Blizzard for making online compulsory, and decided to make a thread about suing Google because I couldn't use their search engine when my Internet was down.
What bothers me the most is I lost my post history which included the "Guess the beta data" thread where people were gambling on their guesses. Although I did capture a screenshot of it.|||

Perhaps the non-Bashiok forum moderators over on the new site aren't up to speed; at any rate, hopefully the new forum gains its integrity over time -- instead of being filled with posts that, if posted here, would be moved to OT in half a second.

I like Bashiok, despite his flagrant favoritism. (There's a reason they aren't allowed to interact directly with fansites) But apparently his favoritism isn't nearly as bad as the other CMs and/or moderators.
I had a nice silent agreement with Nebu back in the day. I would post, he would respond, if I responded back, he would ban me. It was like a private message! Sometimes he'd even leave a hilarious comment in the "ban reason" section.
But that ban didn't cost me $60 and I remained, mostly, a decent poster.
Anyway, back to the other game that is more than worth playing.|||

Oh man, I hear ya Red. If it's any consolation, I've seen you post here since the beginning and even though you are 'spicy' and I don't always agree with you, I appreciate your consistently well thought out responses.
I hope the D3 community forums grow to something resembling the order that was the D3GDF back in the early days.
And on a side note, I've been loving Deus Ex as well. Trying to make my Adam stealth focused, utilizing the cloak is difficult sometimes.|||I support you Risingred.

I will most probably refrain from posting in the new forums anyway. I once had it in Warcraft III that my CD key gut muted in game because of posting in the forums, so I couldn't chat no more when logged in with that key. It's not even that I'd plan to be harrassive in the new forums or some kind of malicious. But the things is, people, especially on the internet, are stupid and are easily offended by everything, even if it wasn't meant that way. If I can't even post a meme or some stupid joke or some self ironic thing that might be misunderstood by forumers or moderators, then it isn't fun for me.|||I find it crazy that so many of you have identicle issues. Normal banter on rediculous threads getting severe punishment where moderators seem to be flexing their personal views. Sometimes to people with half a brain and care for the game.
Didn't Bashiok reply recently to a thread where he himself was called a troll (hence locked), where he argued such banter was NOT trolling and real people with real views?

wait just because of that ban, you have to buy a new SC2/WoW account, i thought you said you weren't permaban|||wow that's pretty bad... i got banned once from this forum (temporarily) for posting elton john lyrics. reason was spamming and trolling as well. i just thought it was weird because i'd posted lyrics from other songs all the time with no problem. but apparently elton john lyrics = ban. a little homophobic if you ask me.|||

Why so heavy handed, Blizzard? I haven't posted much on the new forums, but is this what we can expect in the future? A forum completely devoid of any semblance of intelligent conversation?
This type of moderation is a far cry from what we have on these legacy bnet forums which, in many respects, are handled in a far superior manner. I'm going to miss this forum when it's gone.
