1. Hardcore Characters only.
2. No Paladin class allowed.
3. Enable Corpse Loot, so if you die others will be able to loot your body.
4. Party up until Andariel is dead, at which point everyone meets in town to trade, etc.
5. Divide up into 2v2 / 3v3 / 4v4 or FFA.
6. Last team / man standing wins.

Bad No Nos:
-stacking doorways with mobs is not allowed.

|||Yea, we revised the rules a bit. Once Andy is killed, then everyone goes hostile, but not before hand. This prevents people from visiting town 'to go hostile', and be tempted to do other things along the way. It also prevents people from attacking each other while killing bosses, etc.

Blizzard have a Diablo 2 forum. Post your Diablo 2 talk in that and not here.|||Yes, but this is for D3 fans, while we wait for D3 beta invitations, we want to play with other people who are D3 enthusiasts. You know, find friends who we can start D3 with from day one that we know and are familiar with running along side.
It is also giving us some ideas to do in D3. We are talking in game about D3 and ideas to try in D3, by doing these, we know the people are HC fans, D3 fans, and like to PvP. I don't see a problem with it.

On another note anyone up for any Ironman games today? And also.. I don't think Pallies should be banned as a class, just maybe a certain build shouldn't be allowed or something... Then again there is imba ways to win with every class. I mean, poison bow+bone necro is pretty imba. lol|||Here are the rules copied from d2jsp.org.
1. You must make another account for this event.
2. You can only play on your ironman account with your designated ironman squad.
3. You are not allowed to play in public games, go on runs, etc. You can only play ironman games.
4. You must add every one of your ironman teammates.
5. You are not allowed to buy/repair/heal from any of the vendors from any town unless it is quest related.
6. You are not allowed to use a town portal unless it is quest related.
7. If you AFK, you must ask your teammates to stop and wait for you. You are not allowed to go back to town and you must wait in the wilderness with your teammates. Teammates must wait for him.
8. You must get all the way points in every act.
9. You must give class-specific items to the teammate of that class.
10. You must all be different classes. (In the cases of 8 players, one of you must be a different type of that class)
11. You are not allowed to leave your teammate to die or you are disqualified.
12. In the case that you are lagging and you are within a group of monsters, you can leave the game to your designated channel, where you must either rejoin immediately or wait for everyone else to leave the game.
13. It is suggested that if you don't need anything in your inventory, drop it in in town during your town visits.
14. You are allowed to use identification from Cain.
15. You are allowed to buy a merc from another town, and resurrect them if they die.
16. If you die, let others loot your corpse before you leave the game.
17. You are allowed to redo your stats/skills, but this is not to be used as an excuse to heal at a healer.
18. If you kill Baal, you must complete the difficulty by killing the Cow King and ridding all of the Moo Moo Farm.
19. If you kill Hell Baal and Cow, you then make runs within your designated team to get keys. When you get enough keys, you will get the organs to uber trist. If you still live after that, then damn.
20. Even though this is a competition, team work is required. Work as a team to get through the game.
21. All quests must be done.
22. This is played on hardcore.
You could always tweak some things like town visits are okay.. It's just basically getting a group together and running through the entire game in hardcore mode, sounds fun.

D3 Friskydingo Memorial Ironman
1. HardCore Mode
2. No parties.
3. Once you hit level 9 you enter town briefly ONLY to hostile everyone you can, if you are the first to 9 you DON'T go to town, you just play.
3. ABSOLUTELY no going to town unless you are going hostile. No talking to anybody in town.
4.You live off what you find, you can not buy anything from anyone.
5. Everyone has permission to loot on each other
6. Feel free to attack anyone at any point, or use any sort of method you can think of in which to kill the other player (NO hacking / exploits / massing monsters at Waypoints or stair enterances though)
7. Quests are fine to do, you just can't talk to anyone in town.
8. Should Andy be killed, everyone alive goes to the Blood Moore, in an epic battle to the death. No significant delays of combat, though be realistic. If you are delaying combat for an unreasoable time, you are done. That said, before Andy is killed, feel free to do whatever you want.|||The main problem we were having last night, was killing Andy. Pretty much no one could kill her solo at lvl 13-14.
Also, people would try to kill other players while they were on mini-bosses, etc.
We all talked about it and adjusted the rules I posted at the top. I am happy to change them so everyone will be happy, just let me know. :)
On a side note, I'd like to do a couple runs tonight. Someone else can host them though, just let me know when it starts.|||Anyone down for a run soon?|||bump|||

This is definately the best Ironman to party up, I really enjoy it. And trying to Uber Tristan is insane.
The Hostile Ironman I don't like to much.
