New Old Forum?

[:1]Sadly, D3GDF, our cozy little corner of the internet, is going to die fairly soon. Once Diablo 3 is released, these hallowed pages are going to be purged and erased. Many of us have seen that Blizzard's alternative, the Bnet 2 forums, are currently overflowing with filler and fanboys, making it difficult if not impossible to post anything constructive without it being buried under a dozen "Which class first?" threads that most of us here have seen many times already.
What I've been trying to organize is a designated "New Old" forum for this great community we've built here to colonize. A place where we can keep quality high and traffic reasonable. I'm currently looking for suggestions on where to have such a forum. Fansite sub-forums? Websites that give free boards? Let me know. If you have any of these resources, let me know.|||a portion of the posters already have accounts on incgamers for posting and they are a good fansite.|||Once they close this forum, the only people allowed to post on the new D3 forum will be those that actually own D3, not just random WoW/Starcraft 2 kids like they've got it set up right now.

Their forums are horrible. If you think the moderation on the new D3 boards is heavy-handed, you haven't seen what the basement dwelling neckbeards moderating Incgamers Diablo boards are capable of.

Immature, unprofessional, hypocritical. All three are exquisite descriptors of their moderation team.
Avoid that cesspool like the plague.|||Sadly, I agree about the general incgamer forum. Not so much the censorship, but its tendency to devolve into 10 page long flame wars. If there were to be a semi-exclusive sub forum it would be acceptable.|||First of all, it must be user-friendly. Incgamers have eye-popping red color scheme. Diablofans forums are a thin line of too few replies with too much space between each other, not good. Also we don't really need any moderation beyond banning obvious trolls, we can manage our topics and if we want to speak about something, we must have such ability. So something third-party, not over restrictive.|||

This is a pretty decent point. Hopefully things will be ok by then. Even when people start talking about the beta they will probably get more focused on the topics at hand.|||hey Grug, I see the new site has restarted your D3 engine.
but to your question, as was said above incgamers, unless this little underground we have here stays active for some reason...
but once the game is released I'll just be posting on the D3 B.net site, untill then I'll be here and once this forum is closed no one will hear from me untill release (not by choice)|||
