I think i heard that one copy gave you a choice as to what server (was that australia?)? Games are starting to blend now though.... im not exactly sure. If it did happen it was just for a short time.
I assume (assume), that it ill hold the same way for d3. The version of the game you buy will determine the server you get to join.
If you think theyll handle it identicle to sc2 i mean.
is ru russia?|||Yes, Russia. And in old system it's considered part of Europe gateway, but that's past and I dunno what about present.
What about online purchase? Does it give you ability to choose which region to lock your game to?|||

What about online purchase?
No clue there man, I just got my copy (sc2) first thing in the morning after the midnight release.
Pretty god damn important question though. Do the ruskies play in asia or europe. All i can give are assumptions : (. And i doubt a blue could give you a direct answer atm. : ||||If i remember correctly there were two 'standard' options for Russians:
1) cheapass version (less than half of normal price?) for Russia only with limited multiplayer time (few months?), monthly payments to extend (?)
2) normal EU version, but no access to Russian region for cheapass versions.
you could upgrade 1 to 2, but of course monies were involved.|||No communists on Eu server!
Joke ofcourse :D
I got the feeling that we'll see more seperate regions then we had with D2 to give us better performance (less lag). I could be wrong though.|||

Yes, Russia
i'm not even trying to but now i read all your posts out loud in my head as the heavy from tf2.|||As far as i know more than half the population to play d3 could be on some kind of free to play function.|||These are the important consumer questions that need answering/clarifying
Funny, sometimes I read others' posts with sniper's accent. Oorite!

Problem is somehow we don't have that many active players, I mean we have lots of players but not so many of them are real fans that count and even less know what they're actually doing. So I'm (also as a representative of our active fans) kinda being left out with this regional locking.
